About the event
- For this event, we will be carving and glazing a sage smudge plate. A smudge plate is used for the burning of dried or fresh herbs for the purpose of cleansing a space to prepare it for spiritual or daily activities. This is a first-of-its-kind event, where you can carve your intentions into hard leather clay (semi-dry clay that has not been fired yet) to totally customize your bowl for your own personal practice. After you carve your intentions, you can glaze your bowl with a variety of colors of underglaze for a bright and decorative finish.
- We will have Gracie's Closet teas you can try at this event, but feel free to bring snacks!
- The cost of this class is $65 per person, with the final product pick up on August 31st, just in time for the August Supermoon! Space is limited to 15, so sign up now!
